898PCS Mechanical Frog Jumping Robot STEM Kit

This mechanical frog building blocks STEM toy is a complete construction set that lets children build a working jumping robot frog piece by piece. With 898 pieces of interlocking bricks, gears, axles, connectors, and a wind-up style mechanism, the finished model stands as a functioning jumping robot with movable legs, articulated joints, and visible transmission gears that turn as the frog hops.

Explore Hands-On STEM Learning

Building the 898-piece mechanical frog is an engaging way to introduce STEM concepts — mechanics, motion, cause and effect, and early engineering thinking — through play rather than theory. Children follow the step-by-step illustrated instructions to assemble the body, attach the movable legs, fit the gear train, and test the jumping action, then rebuild the model with their own design ideas and new block combinations.

• 898 pieces for a detailed, layered build with room for customization
• Working gears and axles that visibly rotate to drive the hopping motion
• Movable legs and articulated joints that create a realistic jump and crawl
• Motorized-style mechanism that demonstrates simple mechanical transmission
• Clear assembly guide with step-by-step diagrams suitable for beginners and advanced builders
• Interchangeable brick system that encourages redesign, rebuilding, and creative play

Why Kids Love This Jumping Robot Kit

Unlike flat-printed craft kits, this robot model kit delivers a three-dimensional result that actually moves. Once assembled, the mechanical frog can be lined up and raced against other builds, placed on ramps to test distance and jump height, or used as a display model on a desk or shelf. The combination of construction play and interactive movement keeps children engaged long after the build is finished, supporting fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, patience, and problem-solving.

Ideal Educational Gift for Kids

Offered as a partner-supplied STEM construction toy, this mechanical frog building block set makes an excellent birthday, holiday, or classroom gift for curious builders aged 6 and up. It works well as a robotics gift for kids, a rainy-day indoor activity, a screen-free family project, and a STEM club or maker-space resource. Because the pieces are freely connectable, siblings and parents can build alongside younger children, creating a collaborative learning experience.
